Dr. Anand Haryani
Dr. Anand Haryani, MD, MBA, is a nationally recognized board-certified dermatologist and board-certified Mohs surgeon. He is the co-founder of Iconic Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery and doting husband to Dr. Divya Haryani and a father to their two young children.
A product of Chicago's academic excellence, Dr. Haryani graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in 2009. He engaged in groundbreaking medical research at esteemed institutions such as Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Rush Medical Center, focusing on dermatology, cardiology, and oncology.
Furthering his academic pursuits, Dr. Haryani earned his medical degree from the esteemed Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 2014. Here, he helped to shape the now-famous problem-based curriculum which has been hailed by medical schools across the country as the most productive way to educate young clinicians.
Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Haryani conducted pioneering research into the quality of life of cancer survivors and spearheaded outreach programs on skin cancer awareness and sun protection for the youth of central Illinois, Chicagoland, and central Florida. His dedication to advancing dermatology and improving patient care marked him as a visionary leader in the field.
Dr. Haryani furthered his expertise at the renowned John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois, completing his residency in dermatology. Complementing his residency, he completed a rigorous one-year internship in internal medicine at the esteemed University of Illinois at Chicago. During his time in Chicago, Dr. Haryani participated in mentorship opportunities with distinguished cosmetic dermatologists which led him to the point where he is today - a leading laser expert and cosmetic specialist.
During his residency, Dr. Haryani acquired comprehensive proficiency in all aspects of dermatology, including medical dermatology, cosmetic surgery, and skin cancer surgery. Upon returning to Florida, he completed his master's in business administration at the Crummer Graduate School of Business, expanding his knowledge base into business management and operations while reinforcing his commitment to excellence. As one of the few MD MBAs, Dr. Haryani is asked to speak on panels discussing practice management, the economics of private practice, and other various aspects of health care in today's world.
Currently residing in Florida with his family, Dr. Anand Haryani continues to make significant contributions to the field of dermatology, enhancing patient care and shaping the future of healthcare with his unwavering dedication and boundless passion. He serves on the Advisory Board for the Visiting Nurse Association along with a handful of local physician experts who hope to improve our community's health care and its delivery.
