Evan Stokar, MD
Dr. Evan Stokar is a board-certified Dermatologist and board-certified Dermatopathologist. He completed the majority of this training in Illinois including his medical school education at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and his medical internship at Loyola University Medical Center. He went on to complete his Dermatology residency at Cook County Hospital, where he held many leadership roles including a shared chief resident title his final year. Following residency, Dr. Stokar completed a fellowship in Dermatopathology at the prestigious Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at New York University in New York.
Being double-boarded in Dermatology and Dermatopathology gives Dr. Stokar unique perspective, allowing him to make the connection between clinical impressions and pathology diagnoses under a microscope. Outside of work, Dr. Stokar can be found spending time with his wife who is a pediatrician and their two boys. He enjoys playing or watching all levels of basketball and running on the beach.
